Located in the heart of the wine region of Bordeaux, France, Le Mascaret* is a beautifully restored 17th century stone farmhouse and cottage set in 3 acres on the bank of the Dordogne river. Surrounded by vineyards, the property enjoys a lush garden with a variety of fruit trees that provides privacy and tranquility. Our location gives you plenty of choices for enjoyable outings in wine country, on the ocean coast, or in the many villages around us.

If you are looking for a wine touring holiday, our property is located within a short reach of the famous wine regions of Bordeaux. We are 13 km from Fronsac, 20 Km from Pomerol, 25 Km from Saint Emilion, 30 Km to Blaye, 50 km from Sauternes, and about 75 Km from the Medoc. Only 25 minutes outside Bordeaux, Le Mascaret is centrally located for both touring the region and the perfect holiday vacation in southwest France.
